For several years, IZA RODDE has been developing a unique artistic universe centered on intimacy and the home. Through drawing, painting, and embroidery, she creates real or imaginary interiors where architecture, furniture, objects, and plants become elements of a sensitive narrative.
Her artistic journey began with a life-changing experience that led her to leave Paris and settle in the countryside. Drawing then became both a refuge and a form of expression. Today, this experience fuels a body of work in which each interior is conceived as a space of calm, memory, and gentleness.
Created primarily with felt-tip pens on watercolor paper, her compositions are distinguished by the precision of her lines, the richness of their details, and a vibrant color palette. Her work has gradually expanded to include acrylic painting on canvas, contemporary embroidery on vintage fabric, porcelain creations, textiles, and monumental tarps designed to occupy architectural spaces.
For several years now, her works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions throughout France and have been acquired by numerous private collections, both in France and abroad.
Her work engages with the worlds of interior design and the hospitality industry. Her illustrations are notably featured at the Hôtel Grand Mazarin and the Hôtel 1.75 Paris. She is also collaborating with interior designer Clémence Jeanjean on a château project.
In 2026, SAISON magazine (Le Point Group) published four of her illustrations in its first issue dedicated to lifestyle and interior design.
Her creations are also available at La Maison Pigalle and Maison Madame Presse in Arles. She has developed collaborations with ceramicist Christine Rousseau as well as with a craftsperson specializing in natural indigo dyeing. She has also created a collection of monumental tarps intended for interior design projects.
Through each of her creations, Iza Rodde pursues the same goal: to make the artwork a space to inhabit, where the eye can slow down and rediscover a sense of serenity.
