The exploitation rights of Hergé's work belong exclusively, and for the whole world, to the company Moulinsart, located at 162 avenue Louise in 1050 Brussels. Any reproduction, adaptation, translation, edition, distribution, representation, public communication, in any form, on any medium and by any means whatsoever, as well as any reproduction of derived objects, are prohibited without prior written authorization.

For original drawings

In accordance with the legislation in force Article L122-8, Articles R122-2 to 122-12 of the Code of Intellectual Property, the buyer-bidder is liable for the right of resale for the benefit of the artists and authors of the works sold at auction,

in addition to the total sale price of the item when the auction is higher than 750 € ; droit de suite applicable for

artists living or deceased for less than 70 years. This obligation remains in the case where the claim of these rights would intervene after the sale and the removal of the lot, without limit of time. The auction house will not intervene in disputes relating to the validity or otherwise of the claim for resale rights. The total amount of the right payable for a lot may not exceed 12,500 euros. We calculate the amount due as follows: Duty for the part of the auction price (in euros) - 4% up to 50,000 - 3% between 50,000.01 and 200,000 - 1% between 200,000.01 and 350,000 - 0.50% between 350,000.01 and 500,000 - above 500,000 euros, the lower amount between 0.25% and 12,500 euros.
