Contains the minutes of the City of Valence’s accession to the Dauphiné Federation (session of June 2, 1815) and the Federal Pact. Signed by the members of the Commission (Paquet, Urtin, Marc Aurel, Fieron, Bergeron, Tourette, Marguery). Reviewed and approved by the Prefect of the Drôme department, Desgouttes. Valence, at Marc AUREL’s, Court Printer. — June 3, 1815. An important document published during the Hundred Days, bearing witness to the movement of spontaneous “Federations” created to defend the Empire against the return of the Bourbons and the foreign threat. Handwritten notes in pencil, period creases, light foxing, small tears along the edges.
