Manara, Aphrodite, a watercolor illustration on drawing pape - Lot 223
Manara, Aphrodite, a watercolor illustration on drawing paper published on page 41 of this artbook by Editions Humanoïdes Associés in 1999. For this adaptation of Pierre Louÿs’s novel set in ancient Alexandria, the artist presents a sensual scene rendered with supple, fluid, and elegant lines. A drawing imbued with eroticism, enhanced by delicate colors drawn from a warm palette. Signed. Dimensions: 54.5 x 42 cm.
