FRANCE Anatole: Ce que disent nos morts. Helleu Editeur Paris 1916. E.O. One of the only large paper copies on Arches. Includes a very fine black ink drawing signed by Bernard NAUDIN, illustrator of this book and dated 1937 (soldier at table with child on lap). Exceptional in-8 half-black morocco binding, boards decorated with a funerary urn under a sun and paper imitating limbo. Spine with two strong bands, gilt head, covers preserved, slipcase (binding signed Dombrowski). One of the finest works on the First World War and the sacrifice of the poilus.
