CHINA - 18th/19th century Hu-shaped vase in chased bronze with blossoming lotuses and foliate scrolls surmounted by bats in flight and framed by archaistic qilong and ruyi frieze, the shoulder decorated with a frieze of lotus panels and flanked by two dragon heads supporting mobile rings, the neck decorated with lotuses and scrolls surmounted by a frieze of banana leaves, the foot extending into an openwork ruyi base.
