CHARDONNE Jacques : - Lot 34
CHARDONNE Jacques :
Correspondence with Pol Vandromme. Set of 31 autograph letters signed (and 2 from Camille BELGUISE). Written in the 50s/60s. The writer discusses his writings, Vandromme's forthcoming biography of him and provides him with a wealth of information, as well as Vandromme's reviews of his books. "I've read your book, it's a work of great importance. It's not about me. It's about much more than me. For you, I have been a road, which you have extended to the widest panorama, in an admirable light". On several occasions, he evokes his friends Déon, Nimier and Morand.
