Van CLEEF & ARPELS, attributed to Lot of 4 preparatory drawings including : - 2 versions of a belt bracelet project, probably made by Rubel, in platinum and diamonds - a project for a beaded bracelet finished with a pearl and a sapphire cabochon - a belt bracelet project in calibrated sapphires 1930/40. Gouache and pencil on tracing paper (some folds). Similar jewelry can be found on the Van Cleef and Arpels Collection website, including variations on the Ludo Briquettes model, one of which was created by Rubel in 1935 for Barbara Hutton, also illustrated in the book Van Cleef & Arpels, L'art de la haute joaillerie, by Possémé Evelyne, de Jouvenel Anne, Lacquemant Jacqueline, Motsch Sophie, published by Les Arts décoratifs, Paris, 2012.
