Letters to a friend
Set of 21 letters and 30 autographed cards and 3 signed typescript letters addressed to Mme Ferry, Director General of the Nice libraries. He is responding to a request for an appointment following the exhibition of his works in Geneva, and because of his links with the author Colette. Through this correspondence, he prepares an exhibition for the Galerie des Ponchettes in Nice: Dunoyer de Segonzac: œuvres grave, dessins, aquarelles, hommage à Colette, February-March 1955. He insists that, given Colette's state of health, he would not dare ask her to write a memoir, and takes this opportunity to talk about his relationship with her. This is followed by the organization of the exhibition. An important set, mainly covering the years 1954-1955, followed by greetings and friendship cards. The last letter is written by Mme de Segonzac, thanking Mme Ferry and paying tribute to her late husband.
