Rosita MAURI commemorative medal in solid silver in a solid gold frame featuring a laurel wreath set with garnets and tied with a ribbon paved with small rose-cut diamonds.
Signed and dedicated on the back "A Rosita Mauri/ses amies/ses camarades/1896".
Diameter: 10 cm. Weight : 159 g.
Rosita Mauri Segura (1820-1923) was a brilliant Spanish dancer.
Charles Gounot, who engaged her in 1878 at the Paris Opera, where she would make a career.
