Powder and saltpetre officer's sword, Second Empire. Gilt brass mounting. Pommel decorated with a bee, joint arc decorated with a frieze of pearls with straight quillon in the extension. Imperial eagle and lightning bolt keyboard. Mother-of-pearl plates. Straight blade with triangular cross-section. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Total length 90 cm. A non-commissioned officer's lanyard is included. France, Second Empire period.
