CHINA - QIANLONG period (1736-1795) Porcelain bowl decorated in iron red and blue underglaze with a central flower surrounded by a frieze of eight lotus flowers and alternating "ji" (luck) characters, the rim decorated with a frieze of eight Buddhist symobles (bajixiang) and "xiang" (good omen) characters. (Slight crack at bottom). On the reverse, the Qianlong mark in zhuanshu (minyao). Diam. 21 cm
