JAPAN - EDO period (1603 - 1868) Set of five iron tsuba: - maru gata with openwork kage sukashi decoration of two (corrosion). Diam. 7,6cm - nagamaru gata decorated in maru bori and gilded copper inlay with Choryo returning his sandal to Kosekiko on one side and a dragon on the other. H. 8 cm - nagamaru gata with chased decoration of a dragon winding from one side to the other. Signed and stamped in gold inlay. H. 6,9 cm - kage sukashi openwork maru gata of an uchiwa and tassels in a bamboo frame. Diam. 8.4 cm - aori gata with chased and gilded copper-inlaid decoration of the moon in the clouds on one side and in maru bori of an eagle in the clouds on the other. Signed Nakai (wear). H. 7.1 cm
