Hergé - Lot 958
Hergé L'Illustré, December 09, 1965: In the summer of 1965, a Swiss journalist visited the Hergé studios, where he was greeted by Jacques Martin and Bob de Moor. Hergé was on vacation, so they decided on a hoax and produced a fake plate of Tintin, which they submitted to the journalist the next day. The journalist went home happy to have a scoop: the visual for a panel in the next Tintin album. Some time later, the two accomplices placed a copy of the magazine on Hergé's desk, and he wanted to buy it, even if he had to pay for it. Jacques Martin never wanted to give it up. The famous plate appeared in this rare Swiss magazine. Very good condition.
