GRACQ Julien - Lot 178
GRACQ Julien
Autograph card signed and addressed to Bruno Sanson, postmarked December 9, 1985. He advises his interlocutor against buying audio recordings of books, "books are made to be read, not heard except by the inner ear. Just as the writer belongs, in my opinion, anywhere rather than on Apostrophes", and insists that he writes part-time and rejects the "profession of the pen". Double-sided card, envelope enclosed.
