Two miniature models of the CGT "Liberté" and "Ile de France" in polychrome wood. Manufactured in the 1950s by Riwag (Richard Wagner) Spielzengban model L. 30 cm each The Liberté was the former liner of the NDL "Europa". The "Ile de France" model here illustrates its appearance after its restoration in 1949, when its dummy 3rd funnel was also removed. The "Ile de France" was one of the preferred liners of wealthy American tourists. It was also used as the set for the first act of the Broadway musical "Men Prefer Blondes".
