Ill. 519: "Premier Fils was considered a particularly feminine absinthe, thanks to its subtle pale green color, warm scent and violet notes on the nose. But this poster aims to appeal to gentlemen: an arm dressed as a man hoists the botanical drink above the rest, as if to say the old French brand, for everyone. The only poster created by the artist in 1935."
