Black half-chagrin with corners, spine decorated (publisher's binding). First edition. Each volume of this important ethnographic study, richly illustrated, deals with a specific subject, notably Africa, Oceania, Asia and the Americas, as well as the peoples of the Old and New Worlds. A good copy, despite a partially split spine.
