Model of a pontoon Frigate armed with 48 cannons. The hull is lined with fine bone strips on a wooden core; the deck is battened and equipped: windlass, steering wheel, gratings, descent to the lower deck. Very finely carved stern and bottles. Figurehead representing a character with his arm stretched out towards the horizon. Two longboats are hoisted from the lower rigging. The particularly precise rigging is made entirely of bone and wire. Presented on its base in stained wood marquetry and encircled with a bone balustrade.
