Letters. Fifth edition of this work first published in 1524, it is a very expanded edition. There is another one, of 1644, which is more so but where one practised retrenchments what makes that are especially sought the old editions without cuts. Title page rubricated in red. A handwritten sentence at the foot "Hos omnes amicos [habere] operosum est, satis est inimicos non habere. Senera [Seneca] speaking of the favor of the great", some traces of wetness without seriousness. Some handwritten annotations in the margins. A few wormholes and a few freckles, last leaf restored, overall fresh interior. Ex-libris of Gabriel de Cirval and a handwritten name, Barthelemy Sacuan, on the colophon. Important work for the history of France, in particular for the epic of Joan of Arc
