Buenos Aires, 1839, in-4, black half cloth with later corners, smooth spine mute, first cover serving as title and reproduced in facsimile. The Worldcat presents only one scanned copy of this reference. Very rare suite of 24 numbered naive engravings on fine paper representing small trades and various types of the Rio de la Plata. The legends, handwritten, are in French. Gregorio Ibarra (1814-1883), born in Montevideo, was the owner of the famous "Litografía Argentina". We have: 1.
