Attribué à Renaud GAUDRON Cabinet in ebony veneer and blackened wood molded with rich floral decoration inlaid with wood report and highlighted with friezes of scrolls and pewter nets inlaid. It opens with thirteen drawers and a central leaf decorated with a floral cup on a scrolled base that reveals two drawers and an inlaid interior. The sides present a vase of flowers on an entablature. Projecting cornice. End of the 17th, beginning of the 18th century Resting on a twisted base in veneer and blackened wood with arcatures and inlaid fillets, 19th century H. 173 cm. L. 131 cm. D. 54 cm. (lifts, accidents and restorations) This cabinet is attributable to Renaud Gaudron whose production has been studied by Calin Demestrescu. We find in the decoration the vases of flowers on entablature or architectural elements particularly characteristic and noted in the creations of this cabinetmaker.
