TIBET - XVIIIe siècle
Brass statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, seated in padmasana on the double lotus, right hand in bhumisparsa mudra (gesture of taking the earth as a witness), left hand in dhyana mudra, his robe falling in harmonious folds over his left shoulder and between his feet. The face is serene and gold-lacquered, the hair with traces of blue pigments is shown in tight curls topped with the ushnisa. H. 13 cm.
