Leonora Carrington
Autograph letter signed "Leonora" to Henri Parisot. 2 pp. in-4, headed Gramercy Park Hotel. New-York, Wednesday, December 17 [1975 ?]. Nice letter illustrated with a ballpoint pen drawing, about her stories. "I sent the 2 catalogs of the exhibitions here [...]. But you know that you are much better acquainted with my tales than I am in the end, if I remember. Yes I would like you to find (I think you should have ? at home ?) Flannel Nightgown, The Tales of the Oval Lady, Penelope, Opus siniestrus (if not I will send it from here) White Rabbits, The Sisters, The Invention of Molé (I think I have a copy in Mexico if you don't have it at home). Maybe others I don't remember. Chiki [her husband Irme Weisz] sent me a very kind letter from Mexico from Jacqueline Chénieux [...]. I am waiting for you to tell me the stories you miss but the choice would be for you I don't know how to judge what I do. Chiki tells me that Flammarion have sent money to Mexico and that is very good". She illustrates her letter with a cat playing with an insect, and explains it: "Aesthetic task".
