Published by the Office de Publicité Générale, a company managed by Émilien Amaury, it was entrusted by the Pétain regime with the distribution of its propaganda on the theme of the family. From 1941, Amaury leads the "Groupe de la rue de Lille", a clandestine gathering, sheltered in the premises of the Office de publicité générale, fighting against propaganda and the occupying forces. The group put its printing facilities at the service of the resistance movements. Thanks to its official position, Amaury benefited from material privileges during this period of paper rationing.
