Silhouette painted in black in cut paper "Emperor Napoleon 1st in foot, arms crossed on the island of Saint Helena". Under glass. Frame in pitchpin 14 x 8 cm. A willow leaf from Napoleon's tomb, brought back from St. Helena by Captain Hernoux, is attached. History : Claude Charles Étienne HERNOUX. Captain of the ship Aide de Camp of the Prince of JOINVILLE commanding the 60-gun frigate "BELLEPOULE" in CHERBOURG. He took part in the expedition of the Return of the Ashes.
