Not interfaced, fair condition: moisture stains, tears, scratches, folds, paper marked. 26.5 x 90.5 cm Wolfgang Weingart (1941) is a graphic designer whose ś work has had a significant impact on Swiss typographic style. In 1963, he applied ŕ the Allgemeine Gewerbeschule Basel, and presented his work ŕ Emil Ruder and Armin Hofmann. As early as 1968, Weingart was invited to teach typography ŕ the Allgemeine Gewerbeschule, as part of the new advanced graphic design program, taking over from Emil Ruder. It was Weingart who, in parallel ŕ with the advent of computers in printing, laid the seeds of a breakthrough typography. The New Wave movement (circa 1980) had its roots in his work. Its influence extends internationally.
