Reunion des musées nationaux, 1994, similar wax model reproduced on page 209 at number 115. Exhibition : A wax "Tête de loup" was exhibited at the Museum of Natural History in Paris in 1934 (exp.N°127). This model was originally an order for a stamp. The artist's catalogue raisonné lists several variants bequeathed to the state by the artist, including the wax model in the Musée des Beaux Arts in Dijon under the inventory number 3784bis (127), the plaster model, gypsum and stone, which is an overmoulding after a bronze located at the Musée d'Orsay, inv, RF 3800 as well as the silver one dating from 1927, acquired from the artist by Charles Pasteur then, bequeathed by the latter, in 1985, to the Musées Nationaux, inv.RF 3708, deposited in Vernon, a silver copy from the Demeurisse collection of unknown location as well as a posthumous bronze edition by C.Valsuani
