Important correspondence box in macassar ebony and parchment veneer with a cylindrical handle decorated with ivory elements H : 10 cm W : 42 cm D : 31 cm Bibliography : "Art et Décoration", April 1930, a variant of the box reproduced on page 125 in an article by Louis Cheronnet devoted to the artist Rose Adler is one of the masters of contemporary bookbinding. She worked on the realization of objects under the influence of the couturier Jacques Doucet and the decorator Pierre Legrain. Excellent technician, we find in her works the preciosity and the feminine delicacy.
