About the editions of the PQG, directed by Joseph Quesnel, which were going to publish in 1931 an edition of Églogues, by Giono, illustrated with drypoints by Hermine David "[...] Quesnel had had the text of Églogues for more than a year, but now not a line out of contract. You can rest assured. I wrote to mons. Malles and there's a paragraph for "you" in his letter about the Hills and One of B. [Baumugnes] Illustrated which I never received a copy of. It seems to me the least I can do is to have one of each. Don't you think so. You'll have the text of the book tomorrow, which will be entitled The Milk of the Bird by the end of December [...]". - S.d. [Saturday night], signed "John".
