Autograph manuscript entitled "Chansons d'Aristide Bruand" [with a "d" as he wrote in his early days]. 1871-1872. Notebook of 21 pp. in-folio. Canvas spine, cardboard plates. Slight dampening on the first and last pages. Carefully calligraphed clean-up of the texts of the very first songs of Bruant. These songs were written in 1871 in Courtenay and in 1872 in Paris.
