BRASSENS, Georges (1921-1981), poète, auteur-compositeur et interprète français.
L.A.S. to friends and a little autographed message pinned up. [After 1958]. 1 p. in-4. Slight lack of paper in the pinned message, no damage; on the back, fragment of typed text. "Please mail this note. Thank you. Püpchen told me that you would have liked to come to Crespières. Don't be shy. I don't know if I'll be there. You may be. But don't let that stop you from coming. I'll give you a kiss. "Georges". Little stapled note: "Let's arrive at Crespières on Wednesday night. Can you wait for us. Thank you, friends. Georges". Georges Brassens had acquired a property in Crespières, in the Yvelines, in 1958 where he lived intermittently until 1971. In this letter, Georges Brassens quotes his companion, Joha Heiman better known under her nickname Püpchen ("little doll" in German). Georges Brassens recorded several of his albums in this house. We enclose a set of 5 photographs of Brassens. About 24 x 18 cm (4) and 17.7 x 13 cm. Black and white prints. Handwritten mentions "Archives G. Brassens" on the verses and a stamp "Centre vidéo Marseille" on the back.
