LV pp., (1) p., 592 pp., (4) pp. First year of the History and Memoirs of the newly created Royal Society of Medicine. The book is illustrated with 16 numbered folding plates and 14 folding tables. The Royal Commission of Medicine, created under Turgot and which in 1775 became the Royal Society of Medicine under Necker, is considered to be the first state agency in the field of health. There are reports signed by the great feathers of medicine at the time, such as the anatomist Vicq D'Azyr or the agronomist Tessier. Table of contents handwritten at the time on blue paper laminated on a guard.
