A gold coated canvas belt completes the set. Around 1980. Provenance: charity sale of March 20, 1985. Documentation: video of her concert in Montreal, April 9, 1983, where she wore this outfit for the song Mourir sur scène (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NN- 2mxivM8Bo.). One of Pierre Balmain's registers was the creation of stage costumes, particularly for Dalida, who had a friendship and admiration for him that was second to none. She paid homage to him in these words: "Pierre Balmain was for me life in rose, silk, lace and sometimes rhinestones.... And God created woman, at least that's what they say, so of course he also created Pierre Balmain! He could have said to her: "You are Peter and on this stone I will build haute couture". "(Collective 40 Years of Creation Pierre Balmain. Musée de la mode et du costume Palais Galliera, 1985, p. 23).
