Constantinople and the Black Sea. Paris, Belin-Leprieur and Morizot, 1855. Large in-8, black-backed publisher's canvas with polychrome and gilded arabic decoration. On the first plate, large decorative plate with architectural motif with the title in reserve surrounded by crescents. The second plate is decorated with an openwork rosette, and the back decorated with floral and geometrical motifs (rel. Lenègre). Gilt slices - XI, 495 pp., [2 ff., plates, publications]. Work illustrated with 21 steel engravings on steel of Rouargue frères including 1 in frontispiece and 6 in colors of scenes of genres.
